Creating Pay Links

As mentioned previously, you can choose to create either one-time or recurring pay links. This guide shows you the steps to creating your pay links with BoomFi's Dashboard and how to present your customers with either the original, or lite checkout versions.

Creating your First Pay Link

Follow the steps below to start and create a pay links with BoomFi:

1. Access the BoomFi Dashboard: Start by logging into your BoomFi account.
2. Navigate to Pay Links:
   • Go to the Pay Link section within your dashboard.
3. Create a New Pay Link:
   • Click the Create a Pay Link button located at the top right corner of the screen.
4. Enter Pay Link Details:
   • Name: Enter the name of your product.
   • Description (optional): Add a brief description of the product or sale.
   • Amount: Specify the price in Available Fiat and Cryptocurrencies.
   • Image URL (optional): Add an image URL to be shown on the checkout.
   • Unique Product Reference (Optional): Either set your identifier or use our automatic generator.
   • Payment Type: Select either One-time or Recurring Payments.
   • Payment Method: Define the possible payment methods for this paylink. The available payment methods is dependent on your active settlement options in your settings.
   • After Completion: Choose what happens after payment is completed. Whether to show BoomFi's confirmation page, either with a custom message or a default one, or redirect your customer to an external website.
     • Allow repeat payments without confirmation: Select if you want to allow user to repeat a payment. When enabled, customers will not be reminded that they have already made a payment for this payment link.
5. Finalize Your Pay Link:
   • Click Continue to create your Pay Link.
6. Share Your Pay Link:
   • ✅ Done! Your Pay Link is now ready.

Your new pay link will be similar to this:

BoomFi makes two checkout options available:

Original Checkout

The original checkout is the regular pay link URL returned when you created your first paylink above:

Lite Checkout

Availability

Currently the Lite Checkout is only available for one-time payment links.

To use the lite checkout option, you need to do the following steps:

1. Add the /lite/ route to any pay link URL:

   https://pay.boomfi.xyz/lite/Pr1l6WoErz
   

2. Connect a customer to the Pay Link by adding the name and email query parameters:

   https://pay.boomfi.xyz/lite/Pr1l6WoErz?name=Tamara&[email protected]

Without name and email, the original checkout will be rendered.

Sharing your Pay Link 🔗

After generating your Pay Link with BoomFi, you can share it with your customers through multiple channels:

• Email: Copy and send the Pay Link directly to your customers via email.
• Website or Blog: Embed the Pay Link in an appropriate section on your website or blog.
• Social Media: Share the Pay Link on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.
